Your question caused me to research our home heating bills since your company insulated my attic with 14” of cellulose fiber insulation in December, 2006. I found that our monthly heating bills (we are on the equal monthly budget plan) have decreased from $198 in December, 2006 when you insulated our attic to $144 in December, 2007, one year later. That is a reduction of $54 per month or 27%. I attribute the biggest part of that reduction to the insulation and a smaller portion to warmer winter temperatures. Our annual savings is $650. We are really happy with the savings. Additionally, our upstairs bedrooms are much more comfortable with fewer drafts in the winter. I’ve also noticed that the upstairs is much more comfortable in the summer because the upstairs doesn’t heat up as early in the day like it used to before the insulation work. So thank you for insulating our attic last year. Your company did a good job and the worksite was clean when you were finished.
