Thomas Rourke – Rochester Hills, MI
Last year I had a listing for a large estate home in Oakland Township that needed restoration work to make the home marketable, as the exterior of the home and decks were in major disrepair. In discussing my needs with a friend he recommended that I call Scott from America’s Pros, as they had done restoration work for him at his home in the Brookwood subdivision in Rochester Hills. Well I took Craig’s advice and called America’s Pros and spoke to Scott, at which time we set up an appointment for him to inspect the scope of work that was required. The next day Scott and Brian meet with me at the estate home on Sheldon Road in Oakland Township and spent several hours with me inspecting and reviewing all of the work that was required, in order to put the home on the market. Within 48 hours I had received a very detailed and cost-effective proposal from Scott at America’s Pros for the exterior restoration work that needed to be done, including re-building two decks, removing-and-replacing rotted wood on the home, staining and painting of the decks and new wood, repairing broken paver bricks, power washing all of the paver bricks around the pool, painting of the exterior doors & gazebo and replacing all of the exterior lighting. I meet with the executer of the estate and we decided to have America’s Pros days do the work. Despite days of rain and bad weather, America’s Pros completed the job and I must say their work is beautiful. Once they finished all of the work we had initially contracted for them to do, we had America’s Pros then convert the 3-car garage back into a useable garage, as the owner had it remodeled into living space. Within 7 days they completed the entire re4-modeling job, including re-wiring the electric and re-venting the HVAC, plus they found a leak that had been hidden and subsequently fixed it and de-contaminated the area too. Once again there was one more task we gave to America’s Pros, as the estate had two office buildings in Waterford that need some “TLC” before listing them. So, we had America’s Pros power wash the buildings, paint the exterior doors, replace the front double-entry door, remove-and-replace the lighting and during their inspection and repairs of the gable vents they found and disposed of a 4’ bird’s nests and contaminated BATT insulation. I would highly recommend America’s Pros to any company, homeowner or busy exec that needs any type of restoration work done at their home or business, including insulation work, painting, power washing, remodeling or general repairs and I also like the fact that America’s Pros is a veteran owned company.
